Co-owners of VIST Group are trying to sue Tsifra for 150 million rubles for their company

Three co-owners of the industrial software developer VIST Group, Dmitry Vladimirov, Alexander Morozov and Alexey Klebanov, are trying to recover 149.5 million rubles from the Tsifra company, a major shareholder of which is Viktor Vekselberg’s Renova, follows from the filing cabinet of arbitration cases ( CAD). This is compensation for non-fulfilment of the terms of the deal for the purchase of VIST Group by Tsifra, four former Tsifra employees told Vedomosti. The lawsuit was filed back in January 2022, and on August 11, the court is due to start considering the case on the merits. The statements of claim themselves have not been published in the CAD.
Vedomosti wrote about Tsifra’s plans to purchase 100% of VIST Group in November 2018. The transaction amount was supposed to be 2 billion rubles, the parties planned to close it by the end of 2020. At that time, according to VIST Group ”, 24% of the company was owned by three individuals, another 8% – by their joint company and 10% – by two venture funds managed by I2BF Global Ventures and VTB Capital Asset Management.
