Chinese scientists have created a new unmanned aerial vehicle that can fly and swim. This was reported in the Sourh China Morning Post. The development was carried out by scientists from Nanjing University.
The movement of the drone is carried out by four propellers, including two swivel propellers in the front. The flight of the drone is carried out using two folding wings, and the maximum airspeed of the UAV is 120 km/h.
With the help of wings, the craft can save energy during flight and is suitable for longer missions. The width of the drone reaches about two meters.
The tasks of the UAV will be the search for mines, reconnaissance, as well as a direct attack on the target. In this case, the device can hide in the water to hide from radar.
