Co-founder of “Dissernet” Zayakin put on the federal wanted list

The Ministry of Internal Affairs put the co-founder of Dissernet, physicist and journalist Andrei Zayakin on the federal wanted list. At the end of August the court appointed him a ban on certain actions in a criminal case on the financing of extremist activities.
Information about the search for Mr. Zayakin appeared in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the card, as the basis, the search is indicated “under the article of the Criminal Code.” Earlier it was not reported about the departure of the co-founder of “Dissernet” from the country.
Andrey Zayakin was detained on August 28 in his apartment in Moscow. He is charged with a transfer in the amount of 1 thousand rubles. in favor of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK; entered in the register of NPO-foreign agents and recognized as an extremist organization whose activities are prohibited in Russia; liquidated), carried out the next day after the entry into force of the court decision on recognizing the organization as extremist. A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code (financing of extremist activities). The court forbade Mr. Zayakin to leave the house from 20:00 to 08:00, communicate with other defendants in the case, send and receive correspondence, use the telephone and the Internet.
