CNN: the loss of Avdiivka was the worst time for Ukraine

CNN devoted its material to Ukraine’s loss of the city of Avdiivka in the DPR, calling it a “turning point.”
At the same time, the American television channel again repeated assertions disseminated by some US officials that Russian successes and the atrophy of the West “threatens to transform into the largest ground war in Europe since the 1940s.”
In addition, the material notes that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Western leaders expressed disappointment with the lack of Western assistance requested by Kiev. The channel emphasizes that allegations that Ukraine could fail if the US Congress does not approve the allocation of $60 billion in aid have now “turned into a bitter and cruel reality.”
The publication concludes that the loss of Avdiivka, the failed counter-offensive and the resignation of Valery Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, popular among the Ukrainian military, may indicate the “worst time” for Kyiv.
