Governor Gladkov said that Belgorod officials and public sector employees must take first aid courses

The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, during an operational government meeting, said that officials and public sector employees in Belgorod will have to take first aid courses.

The statement by the head of the region states that by the end of January it is necessary to train employees of state authorities, local governments and employees of budgetary institutions, primarily located in the city of Belgorod, in order to develop skills in providing primary medical emergency care.

Gladkov clarified that at the second stage it is planned to train commercial organizations and enterprises. At the same time, he emphasized that if any of them express a desire to undergo training in advance, the regional leadership will assist them in this.

According to the governor, there are enough doctors in the region, and there is also self-defense, which trains throughout the year. Gladkov noted that difficult situations, including December 30, showed that they have the necessary skills that save people’s lives, so this issue is very important, and it is necessary “at a different level” to develop skills that two years earlier “no one knew about.” thought.”
