All civil registry offices of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) have been connected to the Russian Unified State Register of Civil Status Records, reported press service Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Civil registry offices in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will be connected to the register in the first half of 2024, reports press service Federal Tax Service.
According to the Ministry of Justice, civil registry offices in the LPR began providing civil registration services using the registry on January 30. Currently, all 32 civil registry offices in the republic operate on the basis of the register. “In the first four days of operation, more than 600 entries were registered in the system,” the Federal Tax Service said in a statement.
The operator of the registry system is the Federal Tax Service. Its employees provided communication channels to all civil registry offices in the republic. In addition, the service organized training for more than 200 civil registry office employees. The training was also carried out by employees of the civil registry offices of the Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions. According to the Federal Tax Service, similar work will be carried out in the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
