City Day celebrations canceled in Rostov and Voronezh

Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev informedthat the day of the city this time will not be held in the usual format. There will be no fireworks, solemn celebrations and public events.

Citizens will be able to walk on the streets blocked for transport.

“I think there is no need to explain why: too much has been said on this topic in recent days,” the head of the region noted.

A similar decision was made by Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev. He canceled the concert and fireworks in the central square of the city. The stage where Oleg Gazmanov and Yulianna Karaulova were supposed to perform is already being dismantled. Their performance was rescheduled for a more “favorable time”.

Previously reportedthat the celebrations in honor of the city day were canceled in two cities of the Kaliningrad region and in Chernyakhovsk.
