Citizen has announced the CZ Smart smart watch, which features artificial intelligence and technologies from the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), reports The Verge. The Citizen CZ Smart, powered by Wear OS and compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, will be available in early 2023 starting at $350.
Available in 41mm and 44mm cases, the watch features a 1.28-inch OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chip paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The battery provides up to 24 hours of battery life with fast charging in 40 minutes. There are microphones and a speaker for receiving calls, a set of sensors for tracking body functions and controlling physical activity.
A feature of the new accessory is the CZ Smart YouQ application, which, using neural networks from IBM Watson Studio, analyzes the data collected by the sensors and generates information about the user’s chronotype (lark, owl, or something in between). To assess the psychomotor state of the owner, the Alert Monitor application is provided, based on the algorithms that NASA uses to assess the fatigue of astronauts during expeditions to the International Space Station. If the level of fatigue is high, the user will receive a warning and recommendations on how to relieve fatigue.
