The Russian Post helicopter delivers the Internet to the small picturesque village of Glukharevo. For some reason, Jackie Chan is found on the Internet, who is going to come to Glukharevo.

Further events develop in parallel in four points of a huge country. And quite unexpectedly for the viewer, the characters and, it seems, the director himself. As a result, Glukharev residents receive a stream of congratulations, admiration for the village and promises to come from various cities of the country. Glukharevtsev is bursting with pride, and they immediately become patriots of their village. Such is the plot of the next New Year’s Eve film from the Yolki series, the ninth in a row. It has been released since December 1st.

Our impressions of the new Yolki diverged irreconcilably. It didn’t come to a quarrel, we have developed immunity to this option of negotiations for thirty years.

It was precisely in the integral assessment of impressions from the film. What it was and for what, it seems obvious.

Each of the four stories is based on real events, each of us has observed and experienced something similar many times. At the same time, all four stories are absolutely projective; in life, this does not happen and cannot be.

The authors of the film “Yolki” created a kind fairy tale for adults in the purest, refined and distilled genre of socialist realism.

The four stories are formally connected by Internet contacts. Spiritually, they are connected by the fact that each story is resolved through the desire to go towards each other. Say a kind word. Do something to please someone.

The most difficult thing in life is to agree with the dream, even the mania of a loved one. Let him rejoice.

“Love is an invisible thread,
What can quietly suffocate.
Or maybe stitch up the wound
What will be possible to live on.
And every next stitch –
To happiness, a small step … “

The desire to take a critical step forward has become a diagnostic sign of Russian civilization. This step became a trigger, a switch of development channels.

For the ninth time, “Yolki” has changed significantly. If the viewer does not want to, he may not notice the change. Among the actors there are no Ivan Urgant and Sergei Svetlakov. By the end of 2022, we have already become accustomed to a cardinal rotation of the staff of the show party. The update seemed impossible, it came unexpectedly, remained incomprehensible, opened the way to the screen for new meanings.

Fundamentally new is not particularly visible, everything was already before our era. The eternal question “To go or stay?” received another incarnation in the New Year’s decorations.

Everything that is most popular in today’s world was stuffed into the script and served as they wanted. There is a game of love and subculture. Genuine jealousy for a potential rival and a passion for acting. The most important thing is the use of the network for its intended purpose to consolidate people into society. It would not be worth making dual-use technologies out of what might just be nice. The authors do not do it, it turned out to be a New Year’s fairy tale for adults.

Actors are magnificent in their naturalness, both hyped and not so much.

The main character is the mayor of Glukharev, Vasily (Fyodor Dobronravov), who directs the chain of self-organized events after the accidental factor in the form of the Internet falls on the village.

The Internet, by the will of Vasily, falls into the calloused hands of Misha (Mikhail Orlov), and he immediately manages to play a trick without gaps in the plot, scolding Jackie Chan. This one, in turn, rushes to Glukharevo to show Misha in kind, who is the real fighter.

Vasily needs movement so that the children are interested and they do not leave for the city.

The mess on the Internet was made by Vitalik (Vlad Prokhorov). His girlfriend, Katya Sokolova (Alexandra Rozanova), had to clear up. Perhaps Vitalik would have succeeded according to his own plan, but Katya had a predecessor and part-time friend Valya (Julia Tkach). In parallel, the line of Fedya (Evgeny Kulik) and his fiancee Lucy (Victoria Agalakova) develops, who cannot understand in any way who she has contacted and what is happening. Everything is connected by a young pensioner, a passionate blogger Larisa (Elena Valyushkina).

Husband of Larisa Valera (Aleksey Serebryakov) after thirty years of marriage does not want anything and aggressively disapproves of his wife’s passion. It doesn’t even need to play, it is what it is. The daughter (Sofya Priss) takes the side of the mother – “Dad is punished with us.”

Two women in everyday life is already a whole company. Unfortunately for Valera, his friend Bugor (Alexander Bashirov), with whom they whiled away time in the garage, went over to Larisa’s side.

When the trinity – Katya, Valya and Vitalik – unexpectedly met in one place, everything did not go according to plan for everyone. Intertwining chains of events reached the point of synergy and caught up with the wave that reached Glukharev.

In the film “Yolki-9” there are no secondary roles, here all the characters are at a high level of significance – a lawyer (Jan Tsapnik), a postman (Maxim Litovchenko), a named sister Liza (Valery Chelovechkova).

In life, in general, it happens. It just doesn’t always end well. The movie is over. And in life you can start over, and for this it is not at all necessary to change everything.
