China launches fifth communication satellite ChinaSat-1E

China has launched the ChinaSat-1E communications satellite into Earth’s geosynchronous orbit, the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) said on Tuesday.
The launch took place at 21:18 Beijing time (16:18 Moscow time) from the Wenchan Cosmodrome. The satellite was launched into orbit by the Long March 7A launch vehicle.
This series of devices is created by the Chinese Academy of Space Technology (CAST) to provide television and radio broadcasting services.
Since 2011, China has launched four ChinaSat-1 satellites into orbit.
