How reports SpaceNews portal, members of the Chinese delegation to the United Nations stated that the PRC, regarding the use of space resources, insists that the use of lunar resources must occur within the framework of the Outer Space Treaty of 1967.
The Chinese side called for compliance with the existing framework of international space law, of which the above-mentioned document is the cornerstone.
“China considers the use of space resources permissible, but must be carried out in accordance with the Treaty,” said members of the PRC delegation.
