Children’s animators were required to wear bright and contrasting clothes

This rule is established by the new state standard

The first GOST in Russia for the provision of services in the field of entertainment and recreation for children was recently adopted by Rosstandart. In accordance with it, children’s entertainment should not only be safe, comfortable and convenient, but also aesthetically pleasing, and those who organize it will be required to dress in bright clothes.

The standard is talking about attractions, game rooms, children’s dance floors, water parks, experimentariums (science museums), cities of professions, quest rooms and even children’s bowling alleys. The rules are the same for everyone: comfort, safety, functional suitability of the site and equipment. The standard pays special attention to aesthetics. In practice, this means that the design of the place where the service is provided (regardless of whether children are entertained outdoors or indoors) must be harmonious, made in the same style. In particular, the architectural and planning solution for all interiors should be uniform. This is necessary so that children and their parents can easily navigate the entertainment centers.

Also included in the category of “aesthetic” requirements is the requirement that the staff be dressed in more or less the same and clearly recognizable uniform, depending on the work performed (management, those who work with children, technical staff). Employees’ clothing should be bright and contrasting. Thanks to this, the employees of the institution that entertains children will be easily recognizable.

The obvious requirements are that employees must be friendly, sociable, and have skills in working with children.
