Chansonnier Zheka, who lost his wife, spoke about the family tragedy

“You have to pay for everything in life”

Chansonnier Evgeny Grigoriev, better known as Zheka, is gradually coming to his senses after the tragedy that happened in his life. Four months ago, the artist’s wife Elizaveta decided to die. MK correspondents met Zheka and found out where he was looking for salvation.

In public, Zheka tries not to show her pain. He actively posed for photographers, joked and smiled.

– Ehh, take a walk! – the artist sang behind the scenes of the national dance floor. And only later did he admit that he was looking for salvation from the tragedy in work.

“It took seven hours to fly from Irkutsk, and now I’m flying off on tour again,” the artist explained. – I have my suitcase with me. Work saves me from all sorts of bad thoughts that have been visiting me often lately.

In the four months after his wife left, he seemed to be able to explain to himself why this happened.

“I believe that you have to pay for everything in this life,” Zheka’s face instantly changes when he remembers Lisa. — For high and strong feelings, the price comes with disappointment and pain. For fame, for the fact that there is a connection with heaven, you also have to pay something. Everything has its downside. This shows not only my experience, but also the experience of my colleagues and friends. Everyone has something like this going on in their life. The more famous and popular a person is, the more pain he experiences. We are all given our best in life.

Zheka finds salvation not only in work, but also in his own children.

“They don’t go on tour with me, they stay at home,” explains the artist. – Maria is with her grandmother, Seva is with her mother. I feel much calmer this way than if they led a nomadic life with me. You have to go to school. My daughter makes me happy. She is a great student in terms of her studies. Brings A’s periodically. And the son is a C student. But, probably, charisma comes to such hooligans and poor students with age. It’s not for nothing that they say: “Let’s copy to poor students, then you will obey them at work.”
