Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal has problems with the team, reports “Championship”. According to the publication’s source, some Russian players are dissatisfied with the fact that foreign players are allowed to be late for training and there are concessions for them, while high demands are made on other players.
Guillermo Abascal himself said on October 4 that he was not considering the possibility of dismissal, since his main interest was preparing the team for the next match. He noted that this happens in football: if you lose, you are to blame, but if you win, you are considered a “god.”
Abascal became the head coach of Spartak in the summer of 2022. In the RPL standings in the 2022/2023 season, the team took 3rd place.
