Hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” continue to play in the regular championship of the MHL season 2023-2024. The team from Nizhny Novgorod still plays in the “Golden” division of the Eastern Conference and shows excellent results, confirming its status as the current winner of the Kharlamov Cup. At the moment, “Chaika” ranks 4th in the “Golden” division of the Eastern Conference, scoring only 13 points less than the leaders of the standings, representing “Mamontov-Yugra” from Khanty-Mansiysk.
In the first match of the MHL regular championship in 2024, the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” hockey players will play against representatives of the “Silver” division. The Ladya hockey players from Togliatti will come to Nizhny Novgorod. Lada’s youth team is the leader in the Silver division of the Eastern Conference, scoring 42 points in 32 matches played. In the last head-to-head match at the moment, Chaika won with a score of 3:2.
