Hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” continue to play in the regular championship of the MHL season 2023-2024. The team from Nizhny Novgorod plays in the Golden Division of the Eastern Conference and is fighting for a direct ticket to the Kharlamov Cup playoffs. At the moment, the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” takes 4th place in the “Golden” division of the Eastern Conference, behind competitors from Chelyabinsk, Omsk and Khanty-Mansiysk.
In the upcoming match, the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” will have to compete for 2 points with opponents representing the Lokomotiv system from Yaroslavl. Yaroslavl “Loko-76” will come to Nizhny Novgorod – the second-ranking youth club of the railway workers, playing in the “Silver” division of the Eastern Conference. At the moment, “Loko-76” takes 5th place in the “Silver” division, having scored 3 points less , than “Sputnik” from the zone of getting into the play-offs.
