Cemetery stories: Pugacheva forgot Stefanovich, and Mayorova’s grave fell into disrepair

Troekurovskoye cemetery is one of the most famous churchyards in Moscow. Many celebrities found their last refuge here. The graves of Nikolai Karachentsov, Yuri Shatunov, Boris Moiseev, Yulia Nachalova and other stars are located on Troekurovsky. However, relatives simply forgot about some of them.

To date, the grave of Yuri Shatunov is considered the most visited. Fans daily come to the resting place of the singer. As a result, Shatunov’s grave is literally buried in flowers. Cemetery workers watch over her: they regularly change flowers in vases. There used to be a guard post here, but not so long ago it was removed.

Yulia Nachalova, who died almost four years ago, is also not forgotten by fans. The star monument is in perfect condition. There are always fresh flowers here.

“There used to be a lot of people here,” the cemetery employee said. – Now it’s smaller. But people are coming. They constantly ask: “Where is Yulia’s grave located?”

At the moment when the MK correspondents were at the cemetery, one of her fans came. He brought flowers and sweets with him. Although Julia often went on diets during her lifetime and did not allow herself sweets, which, however, like all women, she loved very much. The singer’s parents are pleased that Yulia is not forgotten.

“We visit the cemetery regularly,” explained the mother of the singer Taisiya, who still cannot come to terms with such a sudden departure of her daughter. – How else?

Boris Klyuev died two years ago. Relatives erected a beautiful monument on the grave of the actor. In vases – a huge number of flowers, including fresh ones. There are a lot of flowers on the grave of Nikolai Karachentsov. The grave of the actor is very well maintained. However, the widow of the actor Lyudmila Porgina admitted to “MK”: this is not her merit.

“I rarely go to the cemetery lately,” Porgina says. – I feel very bad, I live on antidepressants. But I know that cemetery workers are watching Kolya’s grave. Wherever I am, they regularly send me photos of the grave and say: “Don’t worry, everything is fine.” Not so long ago they called: something broke at the base of the monument. They immediately sent a worker who fixed everything. At the same time, they don’t ask me for any money – everything is free. At the Danilovsky cemetery, where my parents and grandmother are buried, I have to pay. And they don’t take anything here. A lot of people come to Kolya. They bring flowers. The cemetery workers throw away the old ones, and lay out the new ones beautifully. They treat our legendary actors with great respect.

Andrey Myagkov died about two years ago. His wife Anastasia Voznesenskaya could not survive the departure of her husband – she died literally a year later. Their graves are nearby. While there is no monument on the grave, apparently, they will install a joint one on the anniversary of Voznesenskaya’s death.

Leonid Kuravlev and his wife Nina will have a joint monument. Kuravlev bought a place in the cemetery for himself in 2012, when his wife left. The actor wanted them to rest together. A year after the death of his wife, Kuravlev erected a monument, indicating his surname there as well.

“When I die, all that remains is to enter the date of death,” the actor said during his lifetime.

Now there is no monument on the grave: they are waiting for the earth to settle. Apparently, the monument will be erected in the spring. The anniversary of Kuravlev’s death is in January. But in winter, such work in the cemetery is prohibited.

While there is no monument and Nina Ruslanova – she died in November last year. But the grave is well-groomed: cemetery workers say that they regularly see her daughter on the churchyard.

Marina Golub has one of the most modest graves: there is not even a photograph of the artist on the monument. They say that she herself wanted so during her lifetime. But in general – everything is well-groomed.

Boris Grachevsky’s grave is not in such perfect condition. The flowers in the vases have dried up, no one cleans them. The monument itself requires wet cleaning.

– Honestly, I rarely visit the grave of Boris Yuryevich, – the ex-wife of the director Anna does not hide. – Mostly, I come on important dates. For me, a cemetery is a difficult place. This does not mean that I forgot Borya. He is always with us: we all miss him very much. I remember Borya all the time, but I try not to do it in the cemetery. You have to go and get out. But I think that the question is not only for me. There are also other heirs.

Apparently, they are busy sharing the inheritance. They still cannot divide it, although two years have passed since the death of Grachevsky.

The director Alexander Stefanovich is also visited infrequently. It is understandable: Pugacheva’s ex-husband has no children. Alla Borisovna did not want to hear about him during her lifetime, and now she has completely gone to Israel. Branches are scattered on Stefanovich’s grave, and flower vases are empty. A sad picture is somewhat revived only by a basket of artificial flowers.

But an even sadder state is at the grave of actress Elena Mayorova. Honored Artist of Russia died at the age of 39. According to the official version, the cause of her death was an accident. Mayorova went out on the stairs to smoke. Suddenly, the dress caught fire from a spark. The actress could not put out the fire on her own. She managed to run to the service entrance of the Moscow City Council Theater, where she served, but they failed to save her. Friends still believe that the artist decided to commit suicide herself, as she was depressed.

25 years have passed since Mayorova’s death. The star had no children, her husband died a few months after her departure. Therefore, there is no one to look after the grave.
