“Moskabel Plant” supplied hundreds of kilometers of cable products for the infrastructure of the Moscow Central Diameters. The details were provided by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital Vladislav Ovchinsky.

“In 2022, the capital assigned the cable plant the status of an industrial complex. This provides significant tax benefits, which allows the company to save and invest in development. So, last year the company supplied about 680 kilometers of contact wires and support cables, which were stretched along the MCD-4 and MCD-3 tracks,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

He noted that about two dozen companies are engaged in the production of cable products in Moscow. The products are used in the construction of social facilities, houses, and transport infrastructure.

MCD-4 improves transport accessibility in more than 20 districts of Moscow and a number of cities in the Moscow region. MCD-3 connects the Leningrad and Kazan directions of the railway. The systems reduce the load on the capital’s highways. Since 2022, the plant’s products have been included in the product register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. This allows the company to participate in tenders for state-owned companies. “Our company is trusted by critical infrastructure facilities throughout the country. For example, halogen-free and fire-resistant cables were used in the construction of the new terminal at Tolmachevo Airport,” emphasized Pavel Moryakov, general director of the company.
