The capital’s enterprise “SAVTEK” has developed and produced several models of vacuum equipment for coating. The installations ensure high uniformity of the sprayed coating layer, which is necessary when creating microelectronic parts.
“Moscow has created comfortable conditions for the operation of a manufacturing business, which allow companies to increase production volumes and expand their range. For example, the capital’s manufacturer has created a line of vacuum deposition equipment,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
He clarified that the devices consist of 80% Russian components. They are designed for applying conductive, protective, decorative and resistive layers to various surfaces. The enterprise will be able to produce at least ten such installations annually.
The developments are used in microelectronics. They are necessary for applying thin films to substrates. In addition, installations are needed in aviation and other industries to prevent corrosion of products and increase their wear resistance.
According to the general director of the company, Mikhail Krylov, the company’s plans for this year are to create a full-fledged testing laboratory and purchase equipment for the machining section. In addition, the company will continue to expand, create jobs and bring new product lines to market.
