Canadian defender of the Khabarovsk hockey club “Amur” Cameron Lee received a Russian passport. The Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Mikhail Degtyarev, informed about this in his personal Telegram channel.

“Congratulations to Cam on this important event in his life,” Degtyarev wrote.

It is specified that on October 8, Lee will take part in a hockey match against Lada Tolyatti for the first time as a citizen of the Russian Federation.

It is known that Cameron Lee has been playing in Russia since last year. In July 2023, the hockey player admitted that he intended to obtain Russian citizenship in the near future.
