In Crimea, cable TV will be turned off for repairs after hacking
Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to the head of Crimea, said on his Telegram channel on Sunday that cable television broadcasting would be turned off in the region for some time. This is due to outside interference in his work.
“The broadcast of a number of Crimean cable operators has been hacked,” Kryuchkov said. According to him, the signal is being turned off.
He also said that “terrestrial television – all multiplexes – operate as usual.”
On the night of June 4, Crimea was subjected to a massive attack by nine Ukrainian drones. Five of them were shot down by air defense forces, the rest of the Russian military were forced to land with the help of electronic warfare installations.
In Dzhankoy, where the attack was repulsed, several private houses and cars were slightly damaged. None of the citizens were injured, the consequences of the raid are being eliminated.
