The other day, the head of the 33rd region, Alexander Avdeev, announced that the opening of the updated Polaris Ice Palace had been postponed to October-November.
Over the past summer, the area in front of the entrance was repaired. Repairs and improvements are already at the finish line. So far, according to the governor, there are still minor problems with the supply of equipment. And this actually shifts the opening date of the facility.
Recall that the regional hockey school will be located in Polaris. And the ice palace should relieve some of the stress for the skaters of the Vladimirets arena and ordinary ice skating enthusiasts.
Some time ago it was said that the doors of Polaris would open on Knowledge Day, September 1st. But it didn’t happen – the supply of equipment failed.
