Buses in Moscow’s Sokol district will not run due to the opening of a monument to Fidel Castro

Tomorrow, November 22, buses will not run along Novopeschanaya Street in Moscow due to the opening of the monument to Fidel Castro, informed metropolitan transport. Restrictions will be introduced from 9:00 until the end of the event.
Five bus routes will be changed:
- T6 will operate on the section of the Neva District Center – Seregina Street;
- T43 will operate on two sections: Karamyshevskaya embankment – Peschanaya Square and Seryogina Street – Coastal passage;
- T65 instead of Novopeschanaya Street and the Aeroport metro station will go along the streets of Aviakonstruktor Sukhoi and Marshal Shaposhnikov;
- T86 after the Sokol metro station, instead of Novopeschanaya street, it will go through the Aeroport metro station, Marshal Shaposhnikov and Aviakonstruktor Sukhoi streets;
- 175 will operate on the Begovaya – Peschanaya Ploshad metro station.
At the opening ceremony of the monument to Fidel Castro will take part Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel. He arrived in Russia on Saturday, November 19th. He also plans to meet with Vladimir Putin.
