Burning objects of military and industrial infrastructure in the Odessa region were caught on a video published in the Telegram channel of the news agency Sputnik.
The Ukrainian operational command “South” reported about hits on these objects and fires on them. As reported, in the port of Izmail on the Danube, where three foreign cargo ships entered the day before, an oil storage facility was destroyed. Earlier it was reported about explosions in the city of Izmail.
On the morning of August 2, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, reported several explosions in the city at night. According to him, explosions were recorded in the Solomensky and Goloseevsky districts, and a fire was also reported in the Svyatoshinsky district. The head of the Kyiv military administration, Sergei Popko, reported damage to “non-residential premises” and the work of air defense at night. As reported, air defense worked at night in Kyiv, Kyiv and Odessa regions.
