Voenkor Kots spoke about the use of captured NATO weapons by the Russian military

RIA Novosti war correspondent Andrey Kots in an interview with URA.RU said that Russian servicemen who are in the zone of the special military operation (SVO) are using NATO captured weapons that they managed to get on the battlefield against the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

So, according to the military correspondent, in some sectors of the front, Russian fighters used captured Javelins against the enemy with varying success. He noted that the complex turned out to be “very capricious” and dependent on the weather. In this regard, as Kotz noted, the Russians liked the British NLAW grenade launchers more. In addition, the correspondent added that he saw an American M2 Browning 50-caliber machine gun in the Pyatnashka brigade, which the military praised very much, but they note that there are not enough cartridges for it.

Kots also clarified that the Russian servicemen managed to pick up several units of Western armored vehicles. At the same time, he doubted that the Russians were able to capture German Leopard tanks or American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs). The military commissar added that this type of equipment abandoned by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is in the zone of active hostilities, and he believes that Russian fighters will not risk engineering equipment in order to try to steal something from there, since such equipment is rare and scarce.
