The former head of the NOC of Ukraine, Sergei Bubka, said that the IOC has expressed its readiness to work with Ukraine on information about athletes from the Russian Federation and Belarus who support the CBO.
On December 8, the IOC announced the admission of athletes from the two countries to the Games in Paris in an individual neutral status, subject to a number of criteria. Thus, they must refrain from supporting the CBO at any official event or in the media before, during and after the Olympics.
The Telegram channel of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine quotes Bubka, who spoke at a meeting of the General Assembly of the NOC of Ukraine. “They are ready to work with us and receive all the information that we have on monitoring,” Bubka said about the conversation at the IOC on this topic.
