Bryanets Ilya Borodin won a series of awards in the Central Federal District swimming championship program. A major sporting event took place in Obninsk, Kaluga region.
Let us remind you that Ilya Borodin has already distinguished himself on the first day of the competition, when at a distance of 100 meters butterfly he recorded a new record for the Bryansk region – 55.85 seconds. Then the student of the Dolphin Olympic Reserve Sports School won the highest award, having covered 400 meters in medley swimming in 4:17.70 seconds.
The next swim – backstroke – brought the athlete a bronze medal: he completed the 200-meter race with a result of 2:05.35 seconds. And the final day of the Championship turned out to be the most successful for coach Marina Svistak’s ward. Two bright victories came in the 200 and 800 meter medley events. Borodin completed the first in 2:01.74 seconds, the final – with a result of 8:17.48 seconds.
