A chess tournament dedicated to the Day of the National Guard of Russia was held in the Kherson region, reports the Tavriya TV channel. The event was organized by the Russian Donbass project together with the United Russia party.
Tournament according to the system “Rapid Chess” took place at the sites of Skadovsk and Genichesk. All participants were given T-shirts, and the winners were given diplomas from the project.
“The event is very useful for our children. They must develop intellectually in order to become people with a capital “P,” said Andrey Evstratov, chairman of the federal project “Children’s Sports” in the Kherson region, in a commentary for Tavriya.
