Residents of the UK who want to honor the memory of Queen Elizabeth II were asked not to carry teddy bears and balloons to Buckingham Palace. About it says in a post on the website of the Royal Parks organization, the head of royal parks.
As noted, no gifts and items will be accepted, except for flowers.
The organization also added that they are ready to accept postcards, and flowers must be brought without wrappers.
According to the local press, many Britons began to bring Paddington teddy bears to the royal residences along with flowers. This happened in connection with the showing at the Platinum Jubilee of the reign of Elizabeth II in June, a video in which the queen drinks tea with a character from the book by Michael Bond.
Recall that Buckingham Palace announced on September 8 that Queen Elizabeth II, who ruled the country for 70 years, passed away in Scotland at the age of 96.
