Brave Browser will make it harder for users to re-identify on subsequent site visits

Brave Browser introduced a new Forgetful Browsing feature that prevents sites from re-identifying users on new visits. The browser will be able to automatically remove the HTTP cache, cookie data, and localStorage and indexedDB.

Deleting cookie data will result in the need to re-authorize each time on sites, but this will not allow resources to recognize users. If necessary, it will be possible to configure the function so that the data is deleted only after visiting certain sites. Browser developers state that privacy and tracking issues on websites are not always correctly and easily regulated by modern browsers. As a result, Brave decided to introduce a handy feature that is easy to turn on and off. Brave is a free and open source privacy-focused browser.
