The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shelled the village of Polevye Novoselki in the Suzemsky district, no one was injured, said the governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz.
According to him, as a result of the attack, one residential property was damaged, and the power supply was disrupted. Now there is no electricity in the villages of Pavlovichi and Polevye Novoselki, operational and emergency services are working on the spot, wrote the head of the region in his Telegram channel.
In the middle of July Bogomaz informed about the death of a woman born in 1939 as a result of the shelling of the village of Belaya Berezka. Prior to this, one civilian from the village of Podyvot’e had been injured. On July 9, the governor spoke about two Ukrainian missiles shot down by air defense forces. One of them fell on a sawmill in the village of Bytosh, as a result, the object was completely destroyed. Then there were no casualties.
The Bryansk region has an indefinite high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger, it, as well as a number of other border regions, are subject to regular shelling from Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a “medium response level” has been established in the region.
