Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is feeling well after heart surgery, during which he was fitted with a pacemaker, informs Jerusalem Post, citing a video message from the politician.
“I feel great, but listen to my doctors. The doctors say that I will be released from the hospital tomorrow afternoon, and I will be able to attend the Knesset [парламенте] during the voting,” Netanyahu said.
On July 24, the Israeli parliament is scheduled to vote on judicial reform, which has caused numerous and lengthy protests in the country.
Netanyahu underwent surgery at the Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv. A week earlier, the prime minister had been hospitalized for dehydration and had a heart monitoring device implanted.
