Boats, paragliders, rockets: the picture of the Hamas attack on Israel has been restored

Israeli journalists have reconstructed the picture of the attack by the militant wing of Hamas on the Jewish state.

According to the Haaretz newspaper, at 6:29 a.m., an unprecedented rocket attack on Israel, including Tel Aviv, began from the Gaza Strip. A total of 2,500 missiles were fired. Then the missile attacks were repeated. The sirens did not stop for more than 7 hours.

At the same time, Hamas terrorists paraglided over the security wall and attacked Israeli settlements. The attack was also carried out from the sea on small vessels, and penetrations were carried out through tunnels. In addition, the Palestinians blew up and broke fences with heavy equipment and then penetrated into Israeli border settlements.

In particular, Palestinians attacked the Israeli military base of Zikim and a large IDF headquarters near Kibbutz Raim. At the base, according to some sources, Major General Nimrod Aloni, commander of the deep forces, the most strategic assault unit of the Israeli army’s special forces, could have been captured. However, the Israel Defense Forces deny the information about the capture of the general.

But the capture of settlers and their transfer to Gaza is confirmed by numerous videos. As a result of the attack, 40 Israelis were killed and more than 700 were injured, Israeli Channel 9 reports.

Hamas militants also operated in Kfar Gaza, Magen, Bari, Sofa and the city of Sderot for at least three hours.

Israel is now responding with strikes on Gaza. A state of emergency has been declared in the country. Reservists were called upon to mobilize. There has not been such a combined attack on Israel since the Yom Kippur War. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised that there would be “return fire of such strength as the enemy has never known.”
