Bloomberg learned details about the iPhone 15

Apple will introduce the new iPhone 15 in a few weeks with thinner display borders and a titanium case. About the main characteristics of the models writes Bloomberg.
In the new Pro and Pro Max models, the bezel around the display will be reduced to 1.5mm from the current 2.2mm. This will be possible thanks to the LIPO technology already used in the Apple Watch Series 7 to make the device’s borders thinner and the display size larger. Agency columnist Mark Gurman writes that such an innovation is planned to be implemented in the iPad.
According to Gurman, the company will introduce new features that will be the biggest update in the last three years. The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models will have an improved camera and the A16 chip from the iPhone 14 Pro line, while the Lightning connector will replace USB-C.
The Pro models are planned to use titanium instead of stainless steel, as this material is stronger, lighter and does not leave fingerprints. Apple has already used titanium in the latest version of the watch. The company will keep the matte glass back panel on the Pro, but make the edges less sharp. The rear-view cameras will also receive an update, which will have a wider range of optical zoom.
At the same time, according to Bloomberg, the Pro models will switch to a 3nm chip, while the regular iPhone 15 models will be equipped with last year’s A16 processor. The new processor is “noticeably faster”. There will also be touch feedback buttons for volume control and mute/ringer. The standard buttons will be saved, but they will turn into an “Action” button. It is clarified that the functions of the buttons can be customized.
The gourmand expects price increases for the new models not only outside the US, but also in the United States, primarily due to the use of titanium and a more expensive camera system.
Formerly Bloomberg informedthat Apple is asking suppliers to produce about 85 million iPhone 15s this year, about the same as the previous year. At the same time, Apple plans to increase revenue and is considering raising prices for Pro models.
