According to Mark Gurman, editor of the publication, Apple will introduce a headset of its own design in the spring of 2023, ahead of the annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June. This will allow software developers to prepare applications for the new device before it goes on sale this fall.
The 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips will also debut throughout the year, the Mac Pro will debut with the M2 Ultra processor, and the 15-inch MacBook Air is also expected to debut. The main novelty of the year will be the iPhone 14, which will switch to a USB-C connector for the first time in its history.
Updates of other products, according to the publication, are not planned in 2023. New versions of iPads, Apple Watches and AirPods, and iMac Pro computers are expected to arrive no earlier than 2024. Not all operating systems will also be updated – only iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, as well as macOS 14, codenamed Sunburst, are scheduled for release this year.
