In the Zaporozhye region, the phytosanitary service of the region prevented an outbreak of bird flu. Previously, the death of poultry was recorded in 17 courtyards of the village of Marinovka.
“Specialists did not note violations of veterinary and zootechnical requirements,” the Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance told reporters. “Promptly conducted laboratory tests showed the bird flu virus.”
All the carcasses of the dead birds, according to experts, were burned, and the territory is being disinfected. Areas where cases of the disease have been identified will be isolated.
All residents of the region who are engaged in poultry breeding are recommended to carry out an unscheduled vaccination of their livestock. The phytosanitary service specialists continue to monitor the situation in the alleged foci of infection.
Over the past three days, as noted, there have been no repeated outbreaks of the disease.
