The world’s largest crypto exchange Binance has created a local platform for digital assets in Kazakhstan – Binance Kazakhstan, a site representative told Vedomosti. With its help, it will be possible to exchange and convert crypto-currencies, trade them, deposit and withdraw fiat currencies, and store crypto-currency assets. The platform operates on the basis of a license from the Astana International Financial Center Committee on Financial Services Regulation (AFSA), the company says in a press release. The permanent license, it says, gives Binance in Kazakhstan the status of a regulated platform “with robust compliance and security systems.”
By the time of launch, users can buy and sell cryptocurrencies using a fiat balance, spot trading and conversion. In accordance with the regulatory requirements of Kazakhstan, some products and services that Binance has in other jurisdictions may not be available or limitedly available to users.
