The idea of the “Olympics on steroids” was invented in 2022 by Australian lawyer and businessman Aron D’Souza. According to him, he saw how many people working out in the US in gyms and fitness centers use different steroids. According to him, athletes have every right to do whatever they want with their bodies, and no one, no sports federations, should decide this for them. Mr D’Souza believes that the Olympics on steroids could be held every year. The games will feature five sports disciplines: swimming, gymnastics, weightlifting, athletics and martial arts. Now, according to Mr. D’Souza, negotiations are already underway with several cities that could host this event. He also said that 900 athletes have already expressed interest in participating in the games. “Anyone who wants to compete has the opportunity to do so,” the businessman says, noting that the “Olympics on Steroids” will allow athletes who “didn’t win the genetic lottery” to experiment with supplements that will improve their performance. Aron D’Souza does not name the exact amount already collected for the games, he only notes that it is within ten million, the amount is “quite sufficient to hold the first games.”
