Billionaire Bill Gates reveals a letter he sent to himself in 2008
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates published on his website a letter that he sent to himself in 2008.
Gates said he discovered the letter while thinking about the book Weather for Dummies. When the billionaire pulled up an archive of old emails, it turned out that he had already talked about this book 14 years ago, in the fall of 2008.
In an old post, Gates from the past has compiled a list of 25 science books for himself that he needs to read.
The billionaire explained that while he partially retired from Microsoft, he finally had time for self-development. So, Bill Gates began to study the natural sciences: physics, biology, chemistry and others.
Gates shared with readers of his blog that he had read all the books listed in the list in his time and that even today he relies on the knowledge he gleaned from there.
Now, the billionaire noted, he allows himself to devote his free time to fiction, calling reading detective stories a little “prank.”
