The German publication Bild reports on its Telegram channel, citing a source, that the United States is very concerned about the massive use in Ukraine by both sides of small kamikaze drones with the First-Person View (FPV) system, which allows the operator to receive real-time video from the drone and control it for the most accurate hitting the target.
The report says that these are very cheap drones, the price of which does not exceed $900. Ukraine uses about 2,000 such drones per month, and Russia – up to four thousand pieces.
It is almost impossible to stop such drones. The only way is to create radio interference in advance. The main concern of the US is related to the fact that their troops are also not protected from such weapons. Now American experts are solving the problem of how to protect a convoy of military equipment from attacks by such drones. So far, it turns out that the radio interference generator will have to be installed in every fourth car.
