US President Joe Biden will veto Congress’ decision to allocate funds only to Israel. As John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council, explained, the head of state is in favor of a large-scale assistance package of $106 billion, which will not be limited only to Israel, but will also cover Ukraine and Taiwan.

Earlier, members of the Republican Party introduced in the US House of Representatives a bill to allocate $14.3 billion to Israel alone to fight the radical Hamas movement. Ukraine is not mentioned in this bill. Funds are proposed to be found by reducing funding for the US Internal Revenue Service. On November 2, this bill passed its first reading.
