According to RIA Novosti, US President Joe Biden said that he does not consider the Chinese leadership responsible for the flight of the “spy balloon” in February 2023 over the United States.
“I don’t think management knew what it was, knew what was in it, knew what was going on,” Joe Biden said. “I think it was more unpleasant than intended.”
He also announced his intention to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the coming months to discuss possible agreements between the countries.
Earlier it was reported that a Chinese reconnaissance vehicle was seen over the northern part of the United States on February 3, 2023, and two days later it was shot down by the US Air Force in the skies over South Carolina off the southeast coast of the country.
