Biathlon Russian Cup final may be postponed from Sochi

The final stage of the biathlon competition for the Russian Cup may be moved from Sochi. The decision was made for economic reasons, said Sergey Averyanov, head of the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union, in his telegram channel on September 26.
The event was supposed to take place in Krasnaya Polyana in February next year, however, as Averyanov noted, it is too expensive to send athletes from the regions, even at a sports rate. The city of Tchaikovsky in the Perm Territory may become a new site. According to Averyanov, the Biathlon Union will make the final decision on the transfer before the end of October.
Earlier, MK Sochi wrote about three sailing competitionsthat are currently taking place in the city. Yachtsmen arrived at the resort not only from all over Russia, but also from the Republic of Belarus.
