Biathlete Goreeva: “I was upset when I found out that I was running mixed singles with Babikov”

Biathlete of the Russian national team Anastasia Goreeva shared that she was upset by the choice of coaches who paired her with Anton Babikov for the single mixed relay at the Commonwealth Cup stage in Murmansk. On Saturday, the athlete and Babikov won the mixed singles.
The biathlete clarified that she wanted Khalili to become her partner. They are planning a wedding this year.
“But I was upset not because Anton is my partner, but because my partner is not Karim. I really wanted to run a mixed single with him,” Goreeva shared with Match TV.
She also noted that she was very pleased with the competition and the fact that she won a gold medal. Previously “MK in Murmansk” named winners of the mixed relay at the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup.
