The head of the Izobilnensky district, Vladimir Forostyanov, said that since April 1, the rowing team from St. Petersburg has been training in the village of Solnechnodolsk.

Every day, under the guidance of coach Alexey Bykov, athletes cover kilometers along the Novotroitsk reservoir, where single boats reach a speed of 18 km/h.

A team of 11 people from the School of Higher Sports Excellence in Aquatic Sports named after. Yu.S. Tyukalova, where there are winners of the Russian Championship, is located on the territory of the Yacht Club.

“I have been doing this sport for 5 years now, which inspires me and gives me a lot of strength and energy! And the village of Solnechnodolsk, Izobilnensky municipal district, where we visited for the first time, is the best place for training, a boost of energy and a way to achieve high results in various competitions. “Very beautiful landscape, hospitable people and a favorable atmosphere,” noted silver medalist of the Russian Championship Anastasia Kachurina.

“Our guests work on endurance and technique, because without these two components it will not be possible to show a good result in competitions. Next week the team will have competitions in Rostov-on-Don. I wish the guys success in achieving high results in this sport!” – Forostyanov wrote on the Telegram channel.
