Berlin ignores Russia’s requests to investigate Nord Streams

In an interview with RIA Novosti, Russian Ambassador to Berlin Sergei Nechaev said that German authorities refuse to share details of the Nord Stream investigation, despite requests from Moscow. The diplomat noted that the lack of access to information raises doubts about the objectivity and impartiality of the investigation.
According to Nechaev, the use of modern intelligence and technical expertise should have made it possible to quickly resolve the incident that occurred more than a year ago. The diplomat expressed bewilderment at the presentation of absurd and ridiculous scenarios through the media, noting that Russia does not agree with such an approach.
The ambassador emphasized the need to conduct the most open and depoliticized investigation into one of the largest infrastructure terrorist attacks, from which not only Russia, but also Germany itself and its economy suffered. Nechaev assured that Russia will insist on this issue.
