American supermodel of Palestinian-Dutch origin Bella Hadid spoke about the mental problems she faced in her youth.

In an interview with iD magazine, the 25-year-old catwalk star admitted that at the age of 14 she began to experience chronic anxiety, which is why she cried every day.

At the same time, she thought that this was normal and that all teenagers face the same problems. Hadid said she developed an eating disorder.

“As a child, I thought it was normal that I have this chronic anxiety and this dissociation, I cry every day and I don’t know who I am,” admitted Hadid.

She also said that she believed that all children do the same as her: seize stress and smoke a pack of cigarettes a day.

According to the supermodel, this condition led her to depression and body dysmorphic disorder. She said that she was very concerned about what people thought of her, and also during this period of her life “was out of her body, she was so far away.”
