The Sverdlovsk District Court of Belgorod extended by two months the detention of volunteer Nadezhda Rossinskaya (also known under the online pseudonym Nadine Geisler), who is charged with “public calls for activities directed against the security of the state” (clause “c” of Part 2 of Article 280.4 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, up to six years in prison). As Kommersant was told in court, the preventive measure was extended until May 31.

Previously Nadezhda Rossinskaya concluded in custody until March 31. The FSB directorate for the Belgorod region suspected her of calling from the territory of a foreign state to donate money to the armed forces of Ukraine. Nadezhda Rossinskaya denies guilt. She claims that she is considered an enemy of Ukraine because of her volunteer activities, and the criminal case involves accounts on social networks that do not belong to her. As Kommersant told, after Nadezhda Rossinskaya was taken into custody, an unknown person gave her 30 liters of water to the detention center. Because of this, the monthly transfer limit was exhausted.

After the start of a special military operation, Nadezhda Rossinskaya organized the “Army of Beauties” volunteer movement in Belgorod. The girl was involved in collecting and sending humanitarian aid to residents of territories controlled by the Russian armed forces, evacuating civilians from the combat zone and searching for missing people.
