Residents of the Belgorod region were outraged by the name of the quest game “Belogorye in Danger”, which is held for children in the Kremlin in Izmailovo. They began leaving angry comments on social networks under messages about the game.
According to the publication Belgorod No. 1, one of the subscribers named Elena suggested that the organizers come to Belgorod without quests, where “in reality everything is much more interesting.”
“Here you have a siren every three hours, and shell fragments in the yard, and potentially a rocket into the house,” she noted, adding that here “everything is right for thrill-seekers.”
When journalists contacted the press service of the Izmailovo Kremlin, they explained that the quest game has been running for more than two years and is dedicated to the fabulous country of Belogorye from the film “The Last Hero,” which was released in 2017.
Nevertheless, the Izmailovo Kremlin decided to give the quest a new name – “Ivan’s Fabulous Journey.” They emphasized that they did this as soon as they received negative feedback from residents of the Belgorod region and published a comment on this matter.
