At an operational meeting in the regional government, Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov instructed by the end of January, train employees of local authorities and budgetary institutions in the skills of primary pre-hospital emergency care. Later, employees of commercial organizations will also be able to learn this.

“Due to the fact that the situation remains tense, I think that everyone needs this skill,” explained Mr. Gladkov. He recalled that the authorities have extensive experience in organizing training of people in first aid skills: last year, employees of the agricultural industry took such courses before the sowing season.

According to Vyacheslav Gladkov, at the second stage the authorities will organize similar training for employees of commercial enterprises. “If someone wants to undergo training in advance, this must be provided. We have enough doctors, and we have self-defense, which has been training for a year,” the governor concluded.
